How to cure frizzy pony hair?
Do you hate to see frizzy pony hair like me? After many trial and error, finally I figured a way how to fix my pony hair!
Materials Needed:
1) The pony of course.
2) A small pony brush, must be flat like the pic, do not use any pointed ones. (you can contact us if you need to purchase it, we have plenty of instocks for only $4 per comb)
3) Your favourite shampoo & conditioner
4) A small bucket of water
5) 2 rubber bands
6) Two rectangular shaped tower (I cut from unused tower)
7) Small scissors (if you want to trim the loose ends)
If your pony is glued on to something like the ones displayed in this guide, you will need a few more items:
1) some disposable chopsticks or satay sticks
2) some clear tape.

2) some clear tape.
Step 1: Tape 4 sticks together using some clear tape. (Skip this step if your pony is not glued on to something)
Step two: Wet your pony hair & combing it with water from the tips to 3/4 of pony hair.
Step three: Shampoo the hair (A little amount will do, to 3/4 of the hair only), then rinse it off. Apply some conditioner (pea size) to the 3/4 of the hair. Take note do not go too near to the pony itself, as the pony will rust if water gets in.
Step four: Comb your pony hair to flat on a tower, and if you wishes to, you can trim any loose ends away!
Step five: Curl your pony hair with the sticks prepared in step one, then put the rectangular over the hair & secure it with a rubber band.
If your pony is not glued onto something like mine, you can simply curl it over the neck of the pony & place the tower on top of the hair & secure it with rubber band as well.

Step six: Repeat step two to five for it's tail as well, and you should ended up with something like that. (I know it is funny)
For the tail, you can wrap it around it's leg if your pony is not glued onto something like mine.

We also tried it without the sticks, what we did is simply twirling and curling the pony hair while it is wet, & then wrap it with tower & tie it to the pony.
For the tail, we simply wrap it around pony leg. Remember for either choices of the wrapping you chose, leave your pony overnight to dry it before removing the tower! |
And Ta-da~ The pony hair looks super smooth and silky!
If you wishes to, you can even apply some hair spray or gel on pony hair (remember don't overdo it), to make the hair shape stays longer!
Have fun playing with your pony!
